Company had been experiencing Employee Satisfaction scores in the 67% percent range. Tasked with improving these scores dramatically. Tenure of the population on average was seven years with many having worked their entire career with the organization. Changing opinions of employees of this tenure would be challenging.
Upon taking the position, strategically put programs and processes in place that ultimately improved training, communication, on boarding and which regularly solicited employee feedback. The implementation of an employee strategic planning process also gave employees a say and allowed them to correct issues that had not been resolved for many years.
Company-wide favorable results improved from 67% to 85% favorable in final year with the organization. These represented best results ever achieved at the organization.
